NIHR Signposting Service
The NIHR Signposting Service is free and available to all industry to help identify every appropriate support that the NIHR offers. We can help you identify and access expertise, facilities, trial management, all of the NIHR’s funding programmes, data provisions and patients by connecting your company to relevant teams across the NIHR and the wider UK research network and health system. The clinical research infrastructure funded by the NIHR across the NHS includes world-class research facilities and leading investigators. All of these facilities are set up to collaborate on and deliver research with industry. The Signposting Service can help connect you to interested and relevant investigators from across the country to collaborate on the design and delivery of your research, the development of your innovation for patients in the NHS.
NIHR Invention for Innovation (i4i) - MedTech Funding Programme

i4i is a translational funding scheme open to industry and academics. i4i advances healthcare technologies, devices and interventions for increased patient benefit in areas of existing or emerging clinical need. i4i fund collaborative R&D projects in medtech SMEs, universities and the NHS that have demonstrated proof-of-principle and have a clear pathway towards adoption and commercialisation. The aim is to de-risk projects, making them attractive to follow-on funders and investors. To be a lead applicant on i4i application, your company must be based in England.
