Only returning WSS staffers need peer recommendations.

4 - Staffer did not miss any deadlines and always made sure you received a copy of all work (articles, photos, sidebars, surveys, etc.) OR understood any assignments assigned and explained them to you
3 - Staffer did not miss any deadlines, but sometimes you had to track staffer down
2 - Staffer missed a deadline or two and/or made excuses (true or false) in an attempt to pardon a missed deadline OR staffer did not communicate with you very well about what staffer wanted for the page
1 - Staffer generally missed deadlines or did not know what staffer wanted for the page and did not communicate expectations to you

4 - Staff member went above and beyond your expectations. Staffer not only did what was expected, but s/he anticipated what needed to be done and did that.
3 - Staff member did what was asked of him/her, but did not go beyond what was asked. Staff member did not need to be reminded to do his/her job
2 - Staff member did not take action until you told him/her to or brought a problem to staffer's attention
1 - 0-1 Staff member did not complete the assigned job even when told

Rate the staff member’s quality of work on a scale of 1-4 (1 meaning the applicant lacks this quality and 4 being the applicant excels in this area).
4 - Staff member produced very high quality work (one of the best you’ve worked with)
3 - Staff member produced solid work after much revision and help
2 - Staff member produced work, but it lacked depth, proper sources, or thoughtfulness
1 - Staff member produced work that was rushed merely to meet a deadline, staffer did not make meaningful revisions or did not make time to work with you when you needed help or had questions
