Job Title: Karaoke Host Extraordinaire

Job Summary: Are you the life of the party? Can you hit the high notes like Mariah or Queen B?  Our fabulous LGBTQ+ friendly neighborhood bar is seeking a Karaoke Host Extraordinaire to bring sparkle, laughter, and unforgettable performances to our stage!

Pay: $150

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mic Maestro: Command the microphone with flair, announcing singers, and hyping up the crowd with your charisma.
  • Tech Wizard: Operate the karaoke equipment!
  • Ambiance Artist: Create an inclusive, fun, and energetic atmosphere where everyone feels like a superstar.
  • Playlist Curator: Maintain and update a fabulous song selection, from timeless classics to the latest hits.
  • Crowd Wrangler: Keep the performance schedule on track while ensuring everyone gets their chance to shine.
  • Safety Star: Promote a safe and respectful environment, swiftly addressing any issues or conflicts with tact and grace.
  • Social Butterfly: Engage with the audience, celebrate special occasions, and promote upcoming events.

Qualifications:

  • Showmanship: A natural entertainer with a larger-than-life personality.
  • LGBTQ+ Ally: Understanding and supportive of LGBTQ+ culture and community.
  • Musical Knowledge: Broad knowledge of various music genres and an ability to sing (or at least try!).
  • Technical Skills: Audio equipment operation skills.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and a knack for making people feel comfortable and welcome.
  • Problem Solver: Quick thinker who can handle unexpected situations with a smile.
  • Energy & Stamina: Ability to maintain high energy levels throughout the night.
