Thanks for considering becoming a board member (ie, a Queen Bee!). Board members are expected to:
● Be a dues paying member and attend board meetings (monthly), membership meetings (quarterly), and special events;● Be active and serve on at least one committee (as a member or co-chair) or take an active role in helping the board plan board related events;● Make a two-year commitment to serving on the board, with a maximum of five years;● Be an ambassador for the Beehive Collective to your friends and colleagues, including finding new Beehive members and potential donors.
Queen Bees work together to make decisions about how the Beehive Collective serves and works within our community. Board members bring their unique talents and perspectives to monthly meetings and contribute their time and energy to executing events and supporting committees. In this role, board members have the opportunity to develop and strengthen leadership, project planning, mentoring, and collaboration skills.
