New York- ACDA Call for Proposals
The New York chapter of the American Choral Directors' Association (ACDA) is pleased to announce a Call for Session Proposals for the upcoming Summer Conference, "Moving Forward, Singing Together," held at Siena College from August 10-11.

ACDA members are invited to submit a proposal for a 50-minute workshop or demonstration highlighting specific methods, tools, resources, or projects designed to teach something or develop a set of skills.

The Program Committee chooses presentations based primarily on the abstract as submitted, so it is important to write an abstract that the Committee will understand and can evaluate fairly. We recognize that some topics will fall directly within the parameters of the conference theme, while in other cases, a creative connection will make a proposal powerful. While all topics are welcomed, submissions that intersect with the conference theme are preferred. The Rubric for Interest Session Acceptance can be found HERE.

It is understood that ACDA will not assume financial responsibility for registration, travel, food, or lodging for presenters or interest session/panel participants. Completing the online application implies that the clinician will obtain the necessary funds to travel and present at the conference if accepted.

Proposals are open to all ACDA members, with priority given to those from New York State.

Review of proposals will begin April 15.
