Why?Psyched believes therapy is a great tool for growth but certainly not the only way we grow. We are growing all the time. Moreover, parenting is harder now because of lack of time and living away from extended family and support. We want to see families thrive.
When?Calls take place the first Monday of the month starting at 8:15pm. If you cannot make the call time, ask your question for a date anyway. We will email you a recording of the video call.
What?We use video call software. You can dial in via phone or join via webinar. You will be able to hear and see our presenters while you remain anonymous.
Who?Jenny Kepler, MFT is a therapist licensed in California and Oregon and works with clients in both states. Jenny has been helping families welcome babies and navigate parenthood for over 10 years. An former Oakland and Berkeley,CA native, Jenny now resides in Oregon. Her office is in downtown Portland, OR where she does in person therapy with adults, couples and families. She also does teletherapy and parent coaching over the phone for people who can't see her in Portland for Psyched. Jenny specializes in counseling people who are struggling in their relationships due to anger, depression and anxiety, helping them to discover joy, vitality and resilience.
Sarah Sass, MFT Intern has been working with parents and children for over ten years. First as a teacher and now in agencies for families in crisis. She spent several years at Edgewood Center working with families recovering from mental illness and now works at St. Anthony's where she works with kids in the juvenile justice system. Sarah is supervised by Traci Ruble, MFT.
