Get Ahead Colorado is looking for volunteers to support free volunteer income tax assistance (VITA) sites across the state.

Many Colorado families are missing out on claiming tax credits and receiving cash refunds. Tax preparation can be a confusing and expensive process for many. VITA sites offer high-quality, free tax assistance to community members thanks to a growing network of dedicated volunteers.

Training programs usually begin in October and volunteering at VITA sites begin in January.
