Virtual Teen Vision Board Party (Feb. 19th @ 4:30pm)
Teens are told all the time to find a passion, find their sense of purpose. But that’s not so easy to do without some serious self-reflection.
This party is all about getting teens (grades 6-12) excited about your future. We will focus on goal setting for every area of your life
The purpose of a vision board is to help you focus on your dreams and aspirations. Who do you want to be? What do you want to look like? What do you want to be doing? It is a creative opportunity to create your dreams on paper as a means of helping you bring them more tangibly into your life, a physical focal point for you to see every day, to remind you what it is you're striving for.
Don't worry, you don't have to be "artsy" or "crafty" for this. This party is more than just putting pictures on posters. This is about making your dreams visible because “If you can see it, you can do it!”
Supplies for the activity will be provided in grab and go kits at the library (but you're welcome to supply your own or add to the supplies given).
