Bikes for All Mainers 2019 Application
Bikes for All Mainers is an educational program at the Portland Gear Hub provided in partnership with the Bicycle Coalition of Maine for adults seeking affordable transportation and to build skills in basic bike maintenance and traffic awareness.

After completing the course, participants will earn:
- A fully functional refurbished bicycle
- A new helmet plus safety accessories including: a lock, lights, and a multi-tool
- Training on maintaining a bicycle and safe bicycle riding practices

Each session includes two 3-hour sessions (total of 6 hours) covering basic bike maintenance and traffic awareness skills. Classes will meet at the Portland Gear Hub Bike School at 85 Anderson St. and will take place in the classroom and on our bikes in the road.
