January 2023 Natural Mystery
We kick off a New Year of Natural Mysteries with a track spotted along the shore of Lake Namakagon near Cable, Wisconsin. The photo was taken in November, during our trailing workshop with Dr. Kersey Lawrence. The question is "Who & Which Side of the Body?" For a bonus, what made the mark just below the 4.5cm mark on the ruler? An ideal answer will identify the track and the indicated mark as specifically as possible, and explain how you arrived at your answer and eliminated other candidates.
