Apply to Serve as a 2017 GYSD Community Partner

YSA invites your organization to join a global coalition that will organize Global Youth Service Day (GYSD) 21-23 April 2017. Through the GYSD Community Partner Program, YSA will recognize your organization and support youth development in your community.

Why become a GYSD Community Partner?
--Organizations all over the world have leveraged their participation in GYSD to create new partnerships, recruit volunteers, raise funds, and gain recognition in their community and country as a leader in youth volunteerism.

--As a GYSD Community Partner your organization will:
-Increase your national and international visibility, build your reputation as a participant in a global event.
-Network with other youth organizations from around the world.
-Be recognized as a GYSD Community Partner on GYSD.org.
-Have opportunities for youth to showcase your organization and events on the GYSD interactive map.
-Receive a monthly newsletter with easy to use articles, tools, resources and videos on a variety of topics including youth leadership, event planning, social media outreach, and fundraising that your organization can use to plan GYSD and any other youth service events throughout the year.

What are the requirements to join the GYSD Community Partner program?
-Plan a youth-led GYSD project or event in your community on or around 21 – 23 April 2017 and register it on the GYSD Map.
-Complete a brief report in May 2017 with the project’s results.
*Organizations that meet these requirements will automatically be accepted as a GYSD Community Partner for GYSD 2017.
