Back To School Is Different This Year
WBUR's Cognoscenti wants to hear from you. We're producing a piece about back to school.

Thanks to the pandemic, back-to-school looks quite different this year. In truth, just about the only thing that's clear is the uncertainty we're being asked to navigate. We want to know how you're feeling -- and what you're thinking about.

What's your name?
Where do you live?
In a nutshell, explain your situation when it comes to back to school.  Ex. 1: I have three kids: a 6-y-o who is starting kindergarten, a 3-y-o preschooler and a 1-y-o, who has a part-time babysitter. My spouse and I are working full time from home. Ex. 2: I am a 58-y-o teacher. My district is bringing students back for half in person, half remote learning. I am required to return in person to my school. My spouse is at an elevated risk for COVID-19.
Everyone is dealing with a tremendous amount of uncertainty right now. What keeps you up at night?
The pandemic is affecting every one of us personally, but if course its consequences can be felt around the  world. We were struck by the following line from a recent piece in The Atlantic: “All along, this disaster has been simultaneously wholly shared and wholly individualized, a weird dissonance in a collective tragedy that each person, each family, has to navigate with intricate specificity to their circumstances.” Tell us what you worry about locally -- and globally.
In a perfect world, we would go back to the pre-coronavirus normal with students and teachers in school and parents at home or work. Unfortunately, that is probably a ways off. How are you making through in the meantime? What activities or rituals do you rely on?
What else do you want people to understand about your unique circumstances? Is there anything else we should know?
