4th October 2019 - What is the EU Settlement Scheme and how to help clients to apply for EUSS

This workshop is aimed at organisations who provide information and advice to clients.

This workshop is for participants who want to understand the rights of EU/EEA nationals in the UK following the UK’s departure from the EU. It will look at how EU/EEA and Swiss nationals, and their family members, can obtain and maintain the right to remain in the UK through the EU Settlement Scheme and give an overview of the benefit and housing rights of EU/EEA nationals after Brexit.

The training will cover the following:
- Identifying who is eligible to apply for status under the EU settlement Scheme
- Pre settled and settled status
- Evidence required to support an application
- The rights of family members (including 3rd country nationals) of EU/EEA nationals
- The impact of deal or no deal
- Overview of benefit and housing eligibility following Brexit

The trainers will be:
- Eileen Bye Immigration Solicitor Harrow Law Centre
- Pamela Fitzpatrick Director Harrow Law Centre
