Etsy Made Local - Birmingham Digbeth -        IDEAS Birmingham 2018 Application Form
We would like to invite you to become a stall holder at our Etsy Made Local event to be held at the newly refurbished Custard Factory Market Hall in Digbeth, Birmingham.  2018 will be our fourth Etsy Made Local event and each year we return to the Custard Factory to offer you the very best in handmade, vintage and supplies. We feel the setting is perfect for #shoplocal & #shopsmall as it's located in the Creative Quarter of Birmingham and provides a little bit of calm away from the busy Christmas rush that is the German Market.

We'd like to give you a record of your application!

In previous years we have had many follow-up enquiries from our applicants because they have forgotten whether they have applied or what their answers were.  To cut down on admin this year we are sending you an automated application form receipt containing the answers you provided.  You will then have proof that you have applied and can refer back to the details should you need to.

Our market will take place over 2 days providing a different customer base on each day.

Stall Details
RATES ARE AS FOLLOWS:

- 1 day - £50
- 2 days - £80
- Additional chairs - £3 each
- Additional space* for roller banners / side tables / print racks - £10

WE PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING WITH EACH STALL:

- 1 trestle table - 6ft x 2.5ft
Please specify if you would rather bring your own rail instead.

- 1 folding chair
Any additional chairs that are required must be ordered on the application form.

*Space is allocated according to what is requested in your application.  If you decide you need additional space after your application has been accepted we may not be able to grant your request.
Terms & Conditions for taking part in Etsy Made Local
You must meet all the T & C's to be able to take part.  If you do not we will be unable to consider your application. Please ensure you follow the instructions in each of the following sections before applying as not doing so will delay your application.
You need to be an Etsy seller from Birmingham or the surrounding areas
The Etsy Made Local events are a showcase of the most inspiring handmade creations and collections of vintage and supplies in the local area so to be able to have a stall you first need to be an Etsy seller.  If you don't already have an Etsy shop you can open one using the following advice:

To be eligible to apply for the IDEAS Birmingham Etsy Made Local event you need to live in Birmingham or the surrounding areas. We consider people from up to a 40 mile radius around Birmingham so are quite flexible. While we'd love to include people from other areas that simply want to extend their selling range this event is about featuring sellers that have 'Made Local' and so we have to give priority to local sellers.

If you do not live within the catchment area please do take a look at the other venues that are available and consider applying to the team closest to you.

You must be an active member of IDEAS Birmingham Etsy sellers' team
IDEAS Birmingham is an Etsy sellers' team and the teams leadership is made up of a small group of volunteers.  We give up our time to curate the annual Etsy Made Local event on top of our other commitments.

With this in mind we have to prioritise by offering places to the members of the team that are actively supporting the team. We always try to include new members too but we need to see some community support in order to do so.

Your products need to adhere to Etsy Terms of Service
As this event is an Etsy Made Local event you items must adhere to the same Terms & Conditions that you do to sell online at Etsy.  They must be either handmade, vintage or supplies to be considered for a stall. We cannot include resellers or people that infringe on other brands IP.
