Focus Group Interest Form
The Office of Suicide Prevention is conducting Community Mental Health Focus Groups to collect community experiences related to promoting mental wellness. During the focus groups, participants will provide valuable information on barriers and gaps to maintaining mental wellbeing, as well as cultural perspective on their community that could impact mental health promotion initiatives. The information gathered will be used to develop a Mental Health Promotion Strategic plan and help identify programs relevant to specific communities.
Focus groups will be about 1.5 hours and have 6-10 participants in each group. Participants must be 18 and older to participate. Focus Groups will be held virtually (using Zoom) on Tuesday and Thursday evenings starting in September 2021.
If you are interested in participating, please fill out this form and choose dates when you can participate. You will then be contacted by the staff from the Office of Suicide Prevention to confirm your participation.
All information collected will be protected on a HIPAA secure drive.
