Michael Barlow Scholarship Application
The Michael Barlow Scholarship is a full tuition payment to at least one new improviser over the age of 40 for a Level One class. His scholarship is intended to honor the memory of Michael Barlow, a long time member of the Oklahoma City improv family and community.
Michael came to improv as an older adult. He was 66 at the time of his first class, and continued working on his improvisational skills right up until the time of his passing. He was a part of many improv troupes over the years: Tale it Again, Senior Moments, and the Artful Codgers, to name a few. Michael loved performing and put enormous energy into the art of improvisation, in the same way that put enormous energy into his work as an educator, his work as a negotiator, his work as a family man and as a man of faith.
