Spread the Joy - Read for a Relative
Reading is a great form of relaxation.

When you are little you quite often like having somebody read to you.

You get to hear funny accents.

You get to see people act out scenes for you.

You quite often find it relaxing to hear somebody else's voice. It can make you feel relaxed, safe and sometimes sleepy.

Today's challenge is simple - we want you to pick a book, read a section that you love out loud and record it. That doesn't sound too hard. Let's get you inspired...

One of ELC's favourite authors is David Walliams. Each day at 11am he reads an extract from one of his books during Elevenses (a time when a glass of milk cup of tea, hot chocolate and nice biscuit should be consumed by all in traditional British manner according to Bwiian and Tedwards.) You can go to this website to hear him - https://www.worldofdavidwalliams.com/elevenses/
He does a new one at 11am every day but there are lots to choose from: https://www.worldofdavidwalliams.com/elevenses-catch-up/
