Stanley Ave School Vision- Survey
During Term 3 and 4 the student council, middle and senior school students and our staff
members have been working hard to put together some key statements for our new Stanley
Avenue School Vision.

The next part of the process is to gather ideas relating to the Vision of the Stanley Avenue
Community.

So what is a School Vision?

‘A School vision can be presented in the format of a statement, phrase or paragraph. It is an
overarching statement that defines your school’s aspirations and directions. It needs to be
Inspirational, Aspirational and Achievable,’ Kay Stevenson – NZC Facilitator.

‘A shared Vision is not simply an idea; it’s rather a force in people’s hearts.
At its simplest level a shared vision is the answer to what we want to create.’ -Peter Senge
