Mana Syndicate Sleepover - 27th-28th February 2020
Dear Parents/Caregivers

We are in the process of planning for the Mana Syndicate Sleepover – 27th-28th February 2020.

At this stage of our planning we are requesting parents/caregivers to volunteer to sleep over with the students on Thursday 27th February. Could you please indicate if you are able to help on the form below as soon as possible, we will let you know by the end of the term if your help is required. We will be completing vetting over the summer break, this process can take up to six weeks.

The purpose of the sleepover is to give children a practical understanding of outdoor living by sleeping away from home in a camp-like environment. This is a natural progression towards participating in future camps in Hongoeka and Taupō Syndicates. All children will be sleeping in classrooms with parents. Porirua Police will be advised of our sleepover.

Further information and the permission form for your child and the opportunity to indicate you are able to help with transport to and from the pool will be sent home in week one, term one 2020.

Thank you for your support, without it the children would miss out on a valuable learning experience.
If you have any further questions please feel free to contact us.

Yours sincerely,

The Mana Syndicate Team
