Sign up -- NEH Summer Stipend Informational Session - Wednesday, February 19 from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. in 430R Kresge Library (the Learning Lab)
The NEH Summer Stipends program supports research and dissemination in the humanities by:
• Providing small awards to individuals pursuing advanced research that is of value to humanities scholars and/or general audiences;
• Supporting both early-stage research and late-stage writing where small awards can be the most effective;
• Encouraging applications from a diverse population; and,
• Supporting continuous full-time work on a humanities project for a period of two consecutive months.
Any university may only send two proposals forward to the NEH for review. Therefore, to enhance the competitiveness of those two proposals, Oakland University will implement a multi-stage review and support process.

Find out more about the NEH Summer Stipend Program and how to apply. Andrea Buford and Michael Spires of the OU Research Office will be running an Informational Session: Wednesday, February 19, 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM in Kresge 430R (the Learning Lab).
