Thank you for your interest in attending a social justice conference.  These kinds of interdisciplinary and immersive experiences can be extremely meaningful, and we encourage you to pursue as many of these opportunities as possible.  The Social Justice Institute has a LIMITED amount of funding to help subvent the cost of attending a conference for Case Western Reserve University students.  The scholarships (of up to $500 each) can be used to assist with travel, registration fees, lodging, or other approved expenses.

The SJI Leadership Team will be looking for applications to attend conferences that, in some way, support and uphold our definition of social justice: eradicating systems of oppression with the purpose of advancing fairness and equality through the redistribution and expansion of resources and exalting human dignity and respect.
