The Magic Valley Folk Festival is a dynamic community event that celebrates culture, history, and art through music and dance. Every July, professional folk dance teams from all over the world gather in the Magic Valley to entertain, educate, and build lifelong friendships. The festival requires a broad base of community involvement in order to produce a world class event each year. This year's festival will be held July 21 - 26. Listed below are several opportunities for volunteers to participate in the festival.

One way to enrich your experience with the folk festival is to host some dancers in your home. Would your family be able to host 2 international dancers for the week of the festival? *

The Magic Valley Folk Festival has a need for volunteers on the following committees. Please indicate for which of these committees you would like to volunteer. Mark all that apply. *

Rupert Square Kick-off Event - This event is on Monday, July 21 at 7:00 p.m. There is a parade of countries around the Square and interactive dancing with each team for the community.

Youth Culture Day - This event is on Wednesday, July 23 from 9:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. at Burley High School. Children and their parents rotate through workshops with each visiting country.

Youth Culture Day Luncheon - The festival provides lunch for the visiting teams during a short break on Youth Culture Day.

Taste of America Luncheon - The festival provides an "American" meal for the visiting teams on Thursday, July 24.

Merchandise sales - We have merchandise sales at the Rupert Square, Youth Culture Day, and the two Gala performances on July 25 and 26.

Publicity - We can use help hanging posters and spreading the word about our festival throughout our community.
