The Classy Libertarian was originally conceptualized in 2017 as the second evolution of a student-run publication, founded by William Z. Nardi in 2016 with help from the Collegiate Network. In September of 2018, the publication evolved to become the Boston Free Beacon, leaving the name behind.
In January of 2019, the Classy Libertarian was reinvented under Students for Liberty (SFL) in Nardi’s capacity as North American Communications Leader. Our new mission, echoing SFL’s, is to educate, develop and empower the next generation of leaders. We do this by educating readers with the ideas of liberty which shape our worldviews, developing young writers’ skills in crafting a narrative using abstract political ideas and empowering them to explore their intellectual curiosity.
