To apply, organizations should complete the following application form for standard processing. Applications are welcome on a rolling basis. Organizations will be notified that they are approved within 5 business days of a completed application.
The AiCPG Invites You to Become an Allied Organization
The Alliance for the Implementation of Clinical Practice Guidelines’ (AiCPG) mission is to systematically promote the transparency, validation, dissemination and implementation of clinical practice guidelines to help healthcare professionals minimize errors and maximize patient outcomes.

The Alliance will spearhead the creation and management of a new, comprehensive clearinghouse designed to fulfill this mission. The anticipated launch date is Q1 2019.

Benefits
-Another channel for the dissemination and implementation of your guidelines into multiple formats (including mobile) with no cost for your organization.

-Eventual availability of all guidelines and recommendations in a machine-computable format (separate licensing agreement required).

-Spend as little or as much time as desired. Allied organizations do not have a time requirement in order to participate. You can choose to vote only on the topics that matter most to you and your organization.

- Eligibility to have an official representative serve on the AiCPG Oversight Committee.

- Option to participate in discussions and vote on topics presented to the allied organizations by the AiCPG Board of Directors.

- Allied organizations will be given a voice and the opportunity to shape the direction of this important resource, manage the policies surrounding submission and inclusion and prioritize future additions and enhancements.

-Drive users back to your website and other resources, and additional opportunities to generate non-dues revenue (optional, requires separate agreement)

Overview
- Must be a non-profit organization involved in the development of clinical practice guidelines (recommendations, methodology or similar) to become an allied organization.

- The Alliance has no membership categories and there are no fee/cost to join.

- Becoming an allied organization is not required to submit a guideline for inclusion in the repository.

- An official representative (and alternate) is requested in the application. That person votes, comments, and is eligible to be on the AiCPG Oversight Committee. This Committee sets strategies, policies, and procedures.

-Becoming an allied organization does not grant any license to content, nor does it restrict you from working with other organizations in any way.

Submission Process
- In order to become an allied organization please complete the following form.

- Allied organizations will be approved by the membership committee of the board of directors on a rolling basis.

- Organizations will be notified of application status within 5 business days of form submission.

About the Oversight Committee (Optional)
- Comprised of between 5-9 official representatives from allied organizations.

- An individual's term is 12 months, with a two term limit.

- The founding committee members will be self-nominated and approved by the board of directors, while subsequent committees will be self-nominated and chosen by majority vote of allied organizations.

- Time requirements will be between 1-4 hours per month.

- Travel will NOT be required.
