Join Riverside BIA and Leslieville BIA, Ralph Thornton Community Centre, and South Riverdale Community Health Centre on April 24th for our neighbourhood's annual Community Clean Up - let's all Clean Queen East Together! All local businesses, organizations and community members are invited to help clean up!
Your hard work won't go unappreciated - come back to see us and enjoy some coffee and treats courtesy of locally-owned businesses after the clean up.
Our Clean Up Zone:
We will be cleaning up in the Riverside and Leslieville area - including parks, laneways and sidewalks - along Queen Street East starting from Davies Ave to the west in Riverside, and east into Leslieville, ending at Leslie Grove Park. (see map below). Your areas of clean up will be assigned to you upon dropping by RTCC.
Meeting Spot (2 options!):
1) Outside Ralph Thornton Community Centre - 765 Queen St E (see red pin on map below).
2) Outside South Riverdale Child Parent Centre - 955 Quen St E (see blue pin on map below).
Drop by to pick up your cleaning supplies (gloves and bags) and Map (areas of clean up will be assigned to you upon dropping by).
After Cleaning Up: Bring your waste bags to one of our two drop off locations at either 1) Outside at RTCC - 765 Queen St East, 2) Outside at South Riverdale Community Health Centre - 955 Queen E. Feel free to join us back at RTCC (765 Queen E) or SRCHC (955 Queen E) for coffee and treats from local businesses until 1pm.
