2021 6 MILE Summer Staff Application
1. ALL applications are due by March 1, 2021, although we strongly recommend that you submit it sooner. Once you have submitted your application, 6 Mile will inform you that we have received it. It is in your best interest that this application be submitted as soon as possible! We request that you honestly answer each question as applicable, even if the question seems similar to one you have already answered.
2 references (non-relative) are required, choose from these options:
a) your Pastor/other Church Staff
b) BSU Director/College Minister/School Teacher/College Advisor
c) adult friend
d) previous employer
**BOTH references MUST be submitted before an interview is set.**
a) To be considered for a position on the summer staff, each applicant must be interviewed.
b) Interviews may take place at 6 Mile or over voice/video call.
c) The interview will be an extension of the written application dealing with your Christian growth, your ability to relate to others, and your personal strengths and weaknesses.
d) At the time of the interview, please be prepared to ask appropriate logistical questions, and we will answer questions you have about day-to-day operations of summer camp, and what the position you are interested in involves.
4. STAFF TRAINING
A mandatory meeting takes place the evening of May 20, 2021. ALL staff members will receive further information on training days for their particular positions.

**We HOPE to staff all 3 camps with the same Staff.**
