Did you know that many companies offer a match donation amount, meaning if you choose to donate some cash often large companies will match that donation giving more to the charity and helping out more you simply got to ask them!!!

Furthermore, companies are more likely to donate money, bottles, or items if one of their employees or employees' children are involved in the group or charity.

So if you think you would be able to get support from a company you are associated with, we have a Fundraising coordinator that can give you a booklet for the company and info for donations and also is willing to do tax receipts quarterly for all corporate donations. Also there are 2 fundraisers in a year where companies can be directly involved. Our fundraising coordinator arranges, when we have volunteers, a bottle drive where we go around town collecting bottles but also year round the Brooks Bottle depot takes bottles on our behalf so that we collect the funds each month so individuals and companies can support once a year or year round!!!! The second fundraiser is with Secure Metal collection. On earth day and for one to two additional days sometimes when available Secure collects scrap metals batteries ect in our name and the recycling of these items and getting the info out to companies is a huge step!! Many companies have scrap metals that fill buildings and yards and each little bit counts. In addition to their ability to support our squadron this was with our wonderful board, parents and community partners if given enough heads up and info we can even arrange pick up and drop off sometimes!!!!

But it is understanding that sometimes people feel awkward asking this of their companies and its also understandable that some companies also require talking to an active board member on the donations so please feel free to also fill out the below form if that applies and one of our SSC members or volunteers can get in contact with the company or companies.
