Envision Salon: Afro-Caribbean Revolutions RSVP form

Thank you for you interest in attending a Visionary Collective event! Please fill out this form to RSVP by Friday, September 12th @12 PM

Join us on Sunday, September 14th at The Flea for Envision Salon: Afro-Caribbean Revolutions, curated by Abel Santiago in partnership with Visionary Collective. This evening celebrates the creative power of the Afro-Caribbean diaspora through music, storytelling, and artistic fellowship.

The night features theater-maker Jewels Galindo worksharing his new play Niños, exploring an Afro-Caribbean family from Harlem on their journey to redefine family. Host and multi-hyphenate storyteller, Abel Santiago will be on the 1s and 2s, musically curating a tribute to Black artists throughout the diaspora with Afro-Caribbean, Soul, R&B, House, and Hip Hop.

Following the featured presentations, we'll open the floor for community work-sharing where you can plug  and share your own works-in-progress. Bring your curiosity, joy, and creative works in development as we connect and celebrate our artistic processes together. Please see the RSVP form for work-sharing details.

Work Sharing: During our open-floor community sharing, we invite folks to bring their works-in-progress as we collectively exercise our muscles for sharing creative work in community. You can bring up to 8 minutes of material to share—poems you're working on, scenes you're writing, concepts you want to pitch, songs you're composing, monologues you're developing, or whatever creative work you'd like to hear out loud in a safe, liberating, and supportive space.
