Soul Roll MKE Bike Events - 2023
CONNECTING THE CORRIDOR 2023 BIKE SERIES
Join us this season as we explore biking routes along Milwaukee’s 30th Street Industrial Corridor. The three part bike series will showcase the northern, central, and southern sections of the rail corridor with unique stops along each of the three routes. All ages are encouraged to attend the leisure bike ride. Register for one ride or all three!

Promise Zone Bike Ride
Saturday, June 3rd, 2023
10:00am - 12:30pm, 9am - 10am bike repairs
Garden Homes Park: 2600 W Atkinson Ave, 53216

The slow-paced, 6-mile, family-friendly ride will start and end in Garden Homes Park, featuring stops throughout the ride to highlight various developments and opportunities in the neighborhood. All ages and ability levels are welcome! The event is free and open to the public.

Festival time: 12:00pm - 5:00pm, Bike Ride: 5:00pm - 7:00pm
Washington Park: 1859 N 40th Street (Meeting location: Bandshell Area)

Join SE Community Consulting, Red Bike &Green MKE and several partners for the Bike+ STEAM Fest Roll! The slow-paced, family-friendly ride will start and end in Washington Park in the Bandshell Area, featuring stops throughout the ride to highlight various developments and community establishments. Bike and STEAM Fest is in Partnership with American Family Insurance. The event is free and open to the public!

Learn more about plans to redevelop the 30th Street Corridor during the Fresh & Funky Soul Roll through the Near West Side! The slow-paced, 6-mile, family-friendly ride will start and end at Merrill Park, and feature stops throughout the ride to highlight various developments in the neighborhood. Bring a bike or let us know if you need wheels. Route is approximately 6 miles along city streets and the Hank Aaron State Trail, with some hills.

Fresh & Funky Soul Roll REGISTRATION.

  • There will be a limited number of bikes available to rent for the ride, free of charge, courtesy of Bublr Bikes.

This year our Slow Roll will again lead to the Milwaukee Pride Parade on S. 2nd in Walker's Point, at which point riders can meet up with their pals and watch the parade or join the Bike Fed float down the parade route.

  • This ride series is for beginner/intermediate cyclists looking to train for cycling events, build endurance and muscle strength.
  • Rides will be two hours long using various routes with occasional stops to regroup.
  • Rides will focus on trails but must be comfortable with some street riding. Each ride will begin with a review of group riding safety including road positioning, hand signaling, and communication. 
  • Ride locations may vary and will be provided by the ride leader.
