I'm Marching with SF Bluegrass Pride!
Join Bluegrass Pride in our triumphant return to the San Francisco Pride Parade! Everyone is welcome -- you don't have to be a musician or subscribe to any particular orientation or gender. All you have to do is sign up here, watch the quick instructional video below, and show up near the Embarcadero BART & MUNI station in downtown San Francisco at 12 noon, Sunday, June 30. Costumes are encouraged!
Founded in 2017 by the California Bluegrass Association, Bluegrass Pride is now an independent national organization with chapters in several cities. We host regular jam sessions and concerts to welcome new and seasoned musicians to our diverse, inclusive bluegrass community. And we march in the SF Pride Parade every year, accompanying a float carrying a live bluegrass band, to let people know that bluegrass doesn't discriminate: it's for everyone!
If you're joining with others, please have each person sign up separately so we can keep a good count.
In case we need to communicate on the day of the Parade. Your number will not be shared.
I can join the contingent if there's a wheelchair or scooter available for me!
I'm bringing my own mobility device!
Want to go above and beyond?
I can help out with the after party at Amnesia!
I can show up early for the parade and help with setup and snacks and drinks and stuff!
My employer might be able to kick in some funds for the float!
