YRTTF's "I Run This Town" MENTOR EDITION - 2021 Application

How do "You Run This Town?"
You Run This Town Foundation is awarding a $300 mini grant to all youth in L.A. County.
Submit a creative project: example - video up to 2 minutes, musical song, poetry, drawing, powerpoint, or any creative outlet.
TOPIC: Who is your mentor and How have they inspired you? How have they showed leadership, civic engagement, and/or volunteerism in their community.
Application starts Friday, January 1, 2021
Application ends Monday, March 1, 2021 at 9am.
Finalist selection: (3) finalists will be selected by YRTTF Board Members.
Winner selection: Community Members will be able to vote for the winner via website and social media.
PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENT:
- A youth, 14- 24 years old
- A Los Angeles County resident
- Previous winners and applicants may apply every quarter and must submit a new project and application. One application submission per quarter per person. Repeated projects may be submitted the following year, for that specific IRTT topic.
- SAVE THE DATE! All I Run This Town award recipients must attend YRTTF's Dream Big L.A. virtual event in May/June. Date to be announced. Awards, Certificates and Prizes will be presented to all recipients for scholarship, I Run This Town, Read-A-Thon recipients, and much more! Feature keynote speakers, live musical performances, YRTTF Board and Team Members, and an exciting event to celebrate all the phenomenal youths in L.A.!
