Thank you so much for your interest! We're gearing up for the rescheduled 2021 convention now, and we very much need your help! We'd love to hear from you if you're interested in helping out now, or in future years.

This brief application helps us gather some basic information about you. It lets us begin to figure out if you'd be a good fit for staff, and which positions would be best for you. There's a few steps here, but it'll only take a few minutes of your time.

First, a little about us and the expectations for staff.

Motor City Furry Con Inc is a 501(c)(4) nonprofit organization. All positions are voluntary. That said, Motor City Furry Con is dedicated to providing the best convention experience we can provide for all of our attendees. In becoming staff, we expect that you will share in that dedication.

Generally speaking MCFC staffers will give at least 20 hours of time during the convention year. Depending on the position this could include scheduled shifts during the convention, help with load in and load out around the convention, attending the planning meetings throughout the year, and/or other tasks as needed leading up to the convention through the rest of the planning year.

Ultimately of course time commitment will vary by position. We'll talk with you about the positions, time commitments, and how it fits into your situation as the process moves along.

All MCFC attendees must be 18 years of age or older, and that includes staff positions.

Lastly, remember that staffing a convention can be a lot of work, but you'll hopefully find it very rewarding.
