The Metropolitan Sewer District of Greater Cincinnati (MSD) is spending $3.2 billion to alleviate sewage overflows and to keep our ground water clean. However, MSD has not publicly accounted for how they spend the money. In addition, sewer bills in Hamilton County continue to go up (17% in 2013-14). CUFA is asking MSD to develop an assistance program for low-income and elderly people struggling to pay their bills.
CUFA needs your support to urge MSD to:
1. Publicly account for funds spent and progress made
2. Develop an assistance program for people on fixed incomes and the elderly
Join us and hold MSD accountable!
