The award is open to all New Hampshire public and private school teachers employed in grades K-12, college or graduate school educators and non-formal educators working in New Hampshire. Runners-up from previous years are eligible and encouraged to apply.
The winning educator will receive a $200 cash award and a one-year membership in New Hampshire Environmental Educators. The nomination deadline is February 23, 2018.
A selection committee will choose the award recipient by reviewing completed applications, and will notify the chosen nominee and the primary nominator shortly thereafter. Recognition of the winner will occur at the NHEE Annual Event and Workshop (Guidelines for Excellence in Community Engagement) on March 27, 2018 at Antioch University of New England.
Nominations may be submitted either on an educator’s own behalf or by a colleague, supervisor, or student. You can both fill out the nomination information and attach documents of support using this form.
