Jake Vanderslice Balanced Gentleman Scholarship
The Alumni of Beta Sigma Psi Lutheran fraternity will be awarding one $1,000 scholarship to Christian gentlemen entering Iowa State University in the Fall of 2023. Applicants will be evaluated on their scholastic achievement and active participation in their communities and churches. Applicants must have at least a GPA of 3.25 on a 4.0 scale and must participate in one extra-curricular, work a part-time job, or volunteer regularly. Applications posted prior to July 2nd, 2023 will be eligible for the award.

Beta Sigma Psi is founded on three "S's": Spiritual, Scholastic, and Social. Beta Sigma Psi wishes to reward students exhibiting strength in these areas.

Candidates will be contacted by a scholarship administrator for further instruction on what additional application materials are required. The top candidates will be invited to Iowa State University for an interview. Recipients will be selected from this group. Scholarships will be awarded during Homecoming Week of 2023.
