INDONESIAN Batik:

In this course, the children will have batik classes and painting on miniatures. Batik is a wax-resist fabric dyeing technique that originated in Indonesia. To make batik-making more child-friendly, wax can be replaced with white glue or blue gel glue to make various exciting batik crafts and projects.

Objectives: express yourself, imagine, create! Children will engage and experience the visual arts in a creative, carefree, and practical way! It is the space dedicated to discovering materials and colours, the hand tool, the mastery of the gesture, and developing a complete project! The objectives are varied: encourage children to discover materials (paint, ink, chalk ...) and colours, make the child discover gestures (deposit, spread, mix ...), learn the correct way to use the different tools! Here, your child will learn techniques for expressing ideas, feelings, and thoughts.

Every 4 weeks, we will learn about a new topic, such as plant life, space and beyond, or edible science and pollution.

CAPOEIRA:
Capoeira is a mixture of interactive movements and balancing flow with percussion rhythm – all brewed together to create a beautiful act of self-defence. Like any martial art, there is a discipline to follow, providing a framework for development through different values. They boil down to the general rules of living together.
• Respect for oneself and others so as not to hurt oneself or others.
• Self-confidence and appreciation of our own body image under the gaze of the eyes of others.
• Non-verbal communication of the body and the meaning that we want to give it through gestures.
• Cooperation and not Competition, so we "play" Capoeira, and we do not "fight".
• Develop your "living space" without encroaching on that of others by observation and listening.
• Develop a sense of rhythm, aesthetics and fluidity
