Georgetown Nature Area Improvements
Friends of the Nature Area (FONA) would like community input regarding future planning and use of the Georgetown Nature Area. The nature area encompasses the nature area, amphitheater, restrooms, and disk golf course. Future plans include potential revenue streams that will be used to maintain the nature area grounds and infrastructure.

Possible future plans include the following:

·Make some nature area trails, driveways and the amphitheater ADA accessible

·Develop and promote the nature area as a destination for BOMUSD students to utilize for science, history, art, and sports. Grades TK through high school.

·Create and market the nature area as an educational/outdoor destination for other school districts.

·Create and market the nature area as a public recreation destination for nature viewing, birding, artistic endeavors (painting, photography)

·Develop and market the amphitheater and picnic area for private and commercial rental. Such as: weddings, family reunions, concerts, festivals, and disk golf tournaments. We appreciate your time in taking this survey! Thank you.
