Recertification
Attention: Due to the CNLA holiday office closure, all recertification forms submitted between Friday Dec 19, 2025 until Monday Jan 5, 2026 will be processed as usual upon our return. Thank you for your patience. 
  1. Certified members are required to re-certify every two years by reporting a minimum of 24 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) earned during the recertification period. A series of email reminders are sent for recertification.
  2. Details for claiming CEUs for both education and service to the industry are listed in this document. Email certification@cnla-acpp.ca with questions and for pre-approval of CEU activities. A description of the event, subject matter, host/presenter, dates, learning outcomes, etc., are required to secure approval. Include a copy of the approval with your recertification paperwork submission.
  3. Track CEUs in this form and submit when the required 24 CEUs are achieved. *Note: Proof of attending activities for which CEUs are claimed will be required if selected for audit. Retain relevant documents; receipts, registration confirmation, completion certificate, etc.; on record for two years.
  4. There is no limit to education CEUs claimable in a recertification period. Service CEUs are not required for recertification and the maximum claimable is 12. 
  5. Allow 2 - 4 business days to process and email recertification letter.
