Sign up for a pollution monitor
The existing air quality monitoring in Sydney does not give us the information we need to assess the local impact of pollution from roads, construction (like the huge WestConnex development), and other sources.
So, the community is creating its own air quality monitoring network! We're building and installing our own, small-scale, air quality monitors, based on the model/technology developed by a successful community movement in Stuttgart (German) called Luftdaten (
If you've got a site for a monitor, fill in the details we need below. We'll be in touch about installing a monitor soon.
You can read more about our research into the air quality impacts of WestConnex at

If you don't, thanks OK :) We're looking into alternative solutions, like solar power, for our next batch of monitors.
Standard Monitor donation (either cash or EFT) is $60. Alternatively, for wage earners the cost is $100 to subsidise installations for non-wage earners.
We understand that not everyone can afford this and are looking at ways the community can cover the costs.
