Application deadline: 19 December 2018

Are you a refugee ready to start a career in web development? Then you are at the right place!

HackYourFuture Belgium is looking for people who want to become great at coding and are willing and able to dedicate a lot of time and hard work for a period of six months. Every Sunday you will attend class at BeCentral in Brussels. In addition, you will need to study approximately 25 hours per week. The course is open to anyone staying in Belgium. Women are strongly recommended to apply.

HackYourFutureBe covers students’ transportation costs and provides laptops for students who do not have their own. Note that the course requires an intermediate level of English.

To apply, first complete the next page of the application form with your details. These questions will help us get to know you and assess your motivation to become a web developer.

Secondly, we ask you to complete a coding assignment. In this section of the application form, you will have to create a free profile on Codecademy, follow the HTML & CSS track and finally create your first own website on Codepen. This exercise does not require any coding experience and will give you a taste of what it means to become a web developer.

Lastly, selected students will be invited for a phone interview.
