DCHC Volunteer Form
The D.C. History Conference is seeking volunteers for the 45th annual conference! This year’s theme will address topics related to “Mobility, Migration, and Movement.”

Interested in the city’s past? Volunteers who sign-up for four hour shifts may attend the conference for free.

Please help us get a sense of your availability by sharing your information with us in the survey below.

The annual conference will be held from Thursday, November 1st to Sunday, November 4th. The Letitia Woods Brown Memorial Lecture on Thursday, November 1st will take place at the Charles Sumner School Museum and Archives. Panel sessions, workshops, and other events will take place at the University of the District of Columbia from Friday, November 2nd to Saturday, November 3rd. The planning committee is also looking for a limited number of volunteers to assist with tours on Sunday, November 4th.

Volunteers are expected to attend one of two brief training sessions that will take place from 6 pm to 8 pm on October 22nd and October 29th. More details about these sessions to follow.
