2018 Information Literacy Summit Scholarship
Two scholarships of up to $100 are available for a library school student and an early career librarian to attend the Information Literacy Summit in McMinnville, Oregon on May 12, 2018. These scholarships are intended to cover registration costs and help defray travel expenses. Application is open to any Oregon resident who fits one of these categories:

Library School Student: must be in library school currently
Early Career Librarian: librarian (from any type of library) with less than 4 years of professional experience


Scholarship recipients will be notified by email or phone by April 28, 2018 and will be asked to contribute to the Summit in some way. Examples:

1. Staff registration table in the morning before the Summit starts
2. Help with set-up in the morning and/or clean-up in the afternoon
3. Summarize information learned from attended sessions for distribution to non-attendees
4. Assist with the post-Summit evaluation process

Scholarship recipients will also be expected to submit a short post-Summit statement describing the knowledge or skills they gained from the Summit that will apply to their professional work.

These scholarships are funded through a grant from the Oregon State Library, and are administered by OLA's Library Instruction Roundtable.
