AKBMP Volunteer Signup - Spring 2020
Please complete this form if you're interested in becoming an AKBMP beluga monitoring volunteer. We run monitoring programs in the spring and fall, during which our volunteers sign up to monitor beluga activity across several sites in Alaska's Cook Inlet. Prior to monitoring with us in the field, we ask that you complete this application form and attend an hour-long in-person monitoring orientation (orientations take place at the start of the field season and are held in Anchorage, Girdwood, and Soldotna). We will announce the time and location of upcoming spring monitoring orientations on our website and facebook page as event details are confirmed. We monitor beluga activity across five site in Cook Inlet. Of the following, which site or sites would you prefer to monitor at ? (please check all that apply)

Please describe your availability, are there any days or times that would work best for you to volunteer with us? Please note: AKBMP monitoring sessions are about two-hours long; we request that our volunteers commit to conducting a minimum of three sessions each season (this amounts to about a 7 hour commitment over 3.5 months). There is no maximum number of sessions a volunteer can signup for.
