The Interagency Commission on School Construction (IAC) invites members of the public to provide the IAC with comments about school facilities and school construction projects.
To provide verbal and/or written public comment, please register using this form or by calling (410) 767-0617. Registration opens one week prior to each IAC meeting and closes at 12:00 p.m. on the business day prior to the meeting. The registration form will require you to submit your name, email, phone number, the name of the organization you represent, and the topic you wish to discuss.
Verbal Comment:
- All speakers shall conduct themselves in a non-disruptive manner.
- Comments shall be directed to the IAC, not to individual members. IAC Members do not respond to comments or questions during the public comment portion of a meeting; the members listen and may take follow up action within the scope of the IAC’s authority and jurisdiction.
- Comments will be limited to three minutes per speaker.
- Verbal comment is limited to 10 speakers per meeting and is approved on a first-come, first-served basis.
- If more than 10 speakers register, they will be placed on a waiting list and notified the day before if a space becomes available.
- No signs, presentation slides, or posters may be displayed by the public during meetings of the IAC.
Written Comment:
- Written comment may be provided with or without verbal comment.
- In addition to registering, written comments must be emailed to iac.pscp@maryland.gov no later than 12:00 p.m. the business day before the IAC meeting.
- Written statements will be provided to IAC staff and IAC members, and will be published in the IAC meeting agenda.
