University Chorale is a non-auditioned ensemble for mixed voices that encourages students of all majors and backgrounds to make singing a meaningful part of life during their collegiate study. The ensemble focuses on presenting music that develops and reinforces healthy singing technique, music literacy skills, and ensemble awareness. University Chorale’s repertoire is selected from a variety of genres and styles, performing and celebrating music from many global and cultural traditions.

University Chorale rehearses Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11:30 AM to 12:50 PM. The ensemble is open to any student interested in singing. Undergraduate students may register for the ensemble as MUSE 107.

Non-students and members of the community may enroll in University Chorale through the UNLV Continuing Education program. Please go to the Continuing Education website for more information.

The ensemble is led by Dr. Minji Kim.

The UNLV Singers is an auditioned ensemble of mostly music majors. Students in UNLV Singers focus on building and refining their individual vocal and ensemble skills using a diverse repertoire of choral literature. 95% of students in the ensemble receive private voice instruction from UNLV’s exceptional voice faculty. The ensemble collaborates with the Las Vegas Philharmonic and UNLV Symphony Orchestra every year to present a choral-orchestral masterwork. Recent works include Ein Deutsches Requiem by Johannes Brahms, Te Deum by Anton Bruckner, Carl Orff’s Carmina Burana., and Beethoven's 9th Symphony.

The 2021-22 season includes four thematic programs of choral repertoire in October, November, and February, performing a , presenting a multi-day southern Nevada concert tour, and collaborating with the LVA music program and the UNLV Symphony to present Mahler's Symphony No. 2. In June of 2023 the choir will tour Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, and Germany for two weeks.

UNLV Singers rehearses Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday rom 1:00-2:15 PM. Auditions are held the week before the first day of classes each semester and are open to all students of any major.

The ensemble is led by Dr. Joe Svendsen.

The UNLV Chamber Chorale has been praised for their "joyous singing, remarkable delicacy and poise, impressive performance and expressive fervor." This advanced ensemble of 20-32 singers performs a wide variety of the finest a cappella repertoire encompassing many periods and styles of music. Chorale performs several times throughout the year and tours in the spring. Membership in Chamber Chorale is open by audition to undergraduate and graduate music majors and non-music majors.

The ensemble meets Fridays from 1:00-3:00 PM and is led by Dr. Minji Kim.
