Important Information:
📌Kittens: This form is not for a litter of kittens or a mom with kittens. Please email abbybillings@faithfulfriends.us for more information.
📌 Response Time: We are in the office Tuesday - Saturday and will follow up within 24-72 business hours based on request volume. Sending multiple messages will delay response times.
📌 Surrender Policy: We do not accept walk-up surrenders. You must have an approved appointment before bringing a cat to our facility.
📌Surrender Fee: Faithful Friends' requests a $50 non-refundable surrender fee per pet. Additional contributions beyond this fee are greatly appreciated and will be considered a donation.
📌 Rehoming Resources: Surrendering a pet should be a last resort. Due to space limitations, we cannot guarantee acceptance but will provide alternative resources when possible.
📌 Owner-Only Submissions: Only the legal owner of the pet can request a surrender. If you are assisting someone else, please have them complete this form directly.
📌 Temporary Housing: We do not provide temporary boarding. If you need short-term housing for your pet, please research local boarding facilities.
📌 Animal Welfare Concerns: We do not investigate neglect or cruelty cases. Please contact Delaware’s Office of Animal Welfare at https://animalservices.delaware.gov/services/animal-control-and-cruelty.
📌 Stray Cats: If you found a stray, please call Animal Control at 302-255-4646. We are not contracted to hold stray animals and cannot pick them up.
