Newhouse LA is an immersive professional development program that provides students with a unique opportunity to work as interns at a Los Angeles media company while taking entertainment industry-related academic courses taught by professionals.

In order to be considered for admission to the Newhouse LA program, a minimum grade point average of 3.0 is recommended.  Meeting or exceeding the minimum cumulative GPA requirement does not guarantee admission to the program.

Admission acceptance decisions are based on a full review that includes academic advising approval from the student's home college, conduct clearance from the Office of Community Standards, and meeting with the Newhouse LA Director.  

Once admitted to the program, students must remain in good standing and attend all mandatory meetings in order to continue to participate.
