Opera Omaha and Nebraska Writers Collective offer virtual writing workshops focused on writing for music. Facilitated by Nebraska Writers Collective Teaching Artists, these workshops are approximately 1 hour in length but can be adjusted to fit within a class period.
Workshops will be adapted to student grade level, but are recommended for students in 4th grade and higher.
Workshops are offered in-person for schools within a 40-minute driving radius of Omaha or Lincoln, or virtually for those outside that driving radius. You can also request a video workshop to use at any time.
Update: As of 11/11/24 we are unable to schedule additional live workshops, but if you fill out the information we can send you an interactive video workshop!
