Spring 2020 - Grant Reader Application
We need your perspective in our Spring 2020 Grow grantmaking process. Whether you are new to the Grassroots Fund, a current grantee, an applicant, a donor, a partner, or a supporter - your perspective is a valuable part of our decision-making about where resources go in our movement.
This form signs you up to be a Grassroots Fund grant reader, which includes:
*Participation in a 1-hour webinar about how to use our online system, our rubric, our guiding values, and a brief overview of implicit bias in decision-making (March 18th from 12-1 PM EST - which will be recorded for those who cannot attend)
*Reviewing and Evaluating a maximum of 10 applications in our online review systems (on your own time, but between March 20 - April 11)
Grant readers CAN have active applications in this grant round - all readers will be asked to fill out a conflict of interest and confidentiality form before beginning review.
Total hours: ~8-10 hours
The deadline to sign up is March 16, 2020.

More on the Grassroots Fund process:
Gathering grant reader scores and comments is the first step in our grant review process. Each grant application is reviewed by a minimum of 10 readers from across the region. Grassroots Fund staff then reviews the comments, which inform our calls with each applicant. Staff notes, staff scores, reader comments, and reader scores are then given to our final grantmaking commitee, which is comprised of 10-15 grant readers, to consider for final decisions. More on the grantmaking committee role can be found below.
