Dearest Community Members:
The NYC Unity Project, our citywide LGBTQ policy and programming initiative (
nyc.gov/unityproject) housed in the Mayor's Office and founded by First Lady Chirlane McCray, is collecting information about LGBTQ services, programs, and opportunities currently available to New Yorkers during the COVID-19 or Coronavirus pandemic. We are also using this survey as a tool to gather information on community needs so we can better address existing gaps.
We know that many spaces and services are closed, partially closed, and/or offering virtual programming alternatives. Our hope is to gather as much information as we can about these existing opportunities so that we can share information widely with our community partners and ultimately develop a regularly updated public landing page as a community resource.
If you share this survey online, please use the hashtag #NYCUnityProject, so that we can track responses. We will be keeping this survey open only until **Friday April 10th** but will continue to update information regularly.
If you have any additional questions or concerns, please reach out directly. My contact information is below. Also, please share this survey widely. I am sending you a tremendous amount of love, care, and solidarity at this very challenging time, and we are deeply grateful for the vital work you have always done, and continue to do.
